After returning from World War II, Herman was attending Rice College & working for Copleston's Carpet when he decided to branch out on his own and start a business. With his son, Roy McGrew, he set out to serve East Cooper and the surrounding Charleston areas with quality flooring products and services. Today, Roy is still involved in the business.
